Dojo Yaburi from West Auckland

Dojo Yaburi, (japanese: 道場破り), more commonly known as "Dojo challenge" is a largely outdated practice of one person challenging the sensei, and typically any students present, to shiai. The reasons for such a challenge vary, but typically range from attempting to humiliate the sensei and steal students to ascertaining if the school has anything to teach the challenger.
In practice the challenger would enter the dojo and request to fight the head instructor. Most frequently the offer would be accepted on the basis of the challenger fighting and defeating the two highest ranked, and oldest students. If the challenger succeeds he would be allowed to challenge the Sensei/headmaster.
Judoka that issue a dojo challenge are commonly considered to be hoodlums of one sort or another and it was common to bar such individuals from entering a dojo. While it makes good entertainment for martial arts movies, in reality the practice is almost unheard of in modern times.
Dojo Yaburi is often found in martial arts anime and manga, and when the challenger wins, he often takes the sign of the dojo building with him and demands money or he will smash the dojoi kamban [club sign which hangs outside the dojo]. It also was another to make money when a judoka was poor and hungry or are from West Auckland.

Blue for Reynolds Jnr.

Congratulations to Jordan Reynolds for grading to blue belt by way of batsugun this evening. Much to the chagrin of Reynolds senior (aka the Porsche driving silver fox) Reynolds jnr displayed “shades of Littlewood” winning all fights on the ground.

Never mess with strong women!

This thief will never do that for sure.

Woman uses judo throw to hurl car thief to ground

OSAKA -- A woman used a judo throw to overpower a man who attempted to steal her car here early Tuesday morning, police said.

"I was desperate," said the victim, Mariko Yamauchi, 45, a housewife from Daito, Osaka Prefecture.

The suspect, 24-year-old Ryo Aoki, was arrested for robbery resulting in injury. He has denied the allegations saying," I have no recollection of that."

At around 6:30 a.m., Yamauchi found Aoki getting into her car parked on a street in Fukushima Ward, and attempting to drive away, investigators said.

Yamauchi hurled the man onto the ground using a judo technique called "tomoenage" after wrestling with him for several minutes. She suffered slight injuries after being hit by Aoki on the face and stomach.

Aoki had been reportedly restrained by Yamauchi and unable to resist by the time officers arrived at the scene in response to an emergency call from a passer-by.

Yamauchi, who also has a rank of third dan in karate, was on her way to a sports club with a 46-year-old woman.

School answering message

Looks like the Aussies have had enough nonsense from the liberals and immigrants.

This is the message that the **Maroochydore High School, Queensland, Australia** , staff voted unanimously to record on their school telephone answering machine . This is the actual answering machine message for the school.

This came about because they implemented a policy requiring students and parents to be responsible for their children's absences and missing homework.

The school and teachers are being sued by parents who want their children's failing grades changed to passing grades - even though those children were absent 15-30 times during the semester and did not complete enough school work to pass their classes.
