Balance for Judo on Swiss Ball

Aurelien Broussal demonstrates stability and control exercises on Swiss Ball for Judo. Because he is French all the bouncing around is naturally accompanied by some cheddar-deluxe, euro-trash house soundtrack. The video appears to have been developed by the British Judo Performance Institute.

  1. Aurellian is the strength and conditioning coach at the British Judo Performance Institute AKA Dartford Judo club.

He is a clever guy who was the trainer at the club where Jane Bridge coached in France prior to moving back to the UK.

He was/is not a Judo man, but unlike most people in Judo sat down and defined what good performance in Judo actually is. I really like him and think hes a great asset to the BJPI.

That said, not a huge fan of all the swiss ball stuff and some of the other exercises he believes in. But hey, everyone has different ideas right.

  2. 2 very important details
    1. I was - and will always be - a judo player
    2. Cheddar -even deluxe- is not French ! It is a kind of plastic cheese coming from only Brits knowswhere !

    Aurel.
